Route 24 is a freeway the whole way in Rhode Island. It's a good way to get down to Newport from Southeastern Massachusetts.

Portsmouth - 4.3 miles: RI-114 to Tiverton Line
Fall River Expressway

Tiverton - 3.8 miles: Portsmouth Line to Massachusetts State Line
